Solid foundation schools Enugu is the brain child of seasoned educationsit Lolo Augustina Uchenna Orji who served as a school teacher in both private and government owned schools before deciding to set up school, due to her passion for educating children.

It was established in September 5th 1997. The school was conceived with the aim to establish an institution where good and sound educational morals will be instilled in the life of a growing child. On the 17th of July 2005, after several visits by the Area Inspector of Education in Enugu East, Zonal Inspector of Education Enugu State, the school was granted an approval by the State Ministry of Education and was officially opened.

At the very beginning, the school had just three pupils who were in Nursery one class and two teachers as the staff of the school of which the proprietress was one of them, with such scanty population, Lolo Augustina Uchenna Orji was not deterred but went on undaunted. The school building was a wooden house because of one room size built by the school on a rented plot of land and equipped with some necessary learning and teaching facilities used for academic activities. As the population of the school gradually increased, additional wooden rooms were created, this expansion continued for about five years, thereafter, the land was purchased by the school and block house of two storey building was built on it. This building contained day care, pre-nursery, nursery and primary sections of the school.

It was a beginning full of challenges, but through the hand of God almighty upon the school, together with the commitment, perseverance and handwork of the proprietress and her team of workers the school grew from strength to strength both in the number of staff, pupils and school facilities.

Currently the school has the staff strength of twenty-three employees and population of about 403 pupils and equally gave birth of Solid Foundation high school built on different location.

The high school started academic activities on 4th September 2015 with 4 students in JSS1 and 7 teachers including the school principal. By the end of that academic session the population of the school rose to 18 students.

The High School went for formal registration to Enugu State Ministry of Education . The team of inspectors comprised of secondary education, Zonal Inspector of Education and Area Inspector of Education visited the school.

The visit informed the inspectors of the readiness and adequate ground work made to run the high school as a full educational secondary institution and was granted a probational approval on 13th April 2018 by the commissioner for Education.

As the objective of the high school became clear and evident to people the population of the increased astronomically.

Today we have a population of 205 students. To God be the Glory.

Solid foundation schools Enugu has so far recorded lots of achievements. These includes provisions

Also solid foundation schools has achieved remarkable results made by the pupils and students in both internal and external examinations, attestation and commendations made by parents/guardians of the school children regarding the impeccable character and behaviour portrayed by their wards.

Today, solid found schools is a citadel of knowledge where every parents/guardians would love their children to be groomed.
